Located in the historic Art Deco style CalEdison building, we designed a space for Jerde to welcome international clients, balancing hospitality with the functional aspects of a collaborative architecture firm. A workshop encased in glass showcases modelmaking tools and equipment atop original tile floors. Custom workstations large enough to layout architectural drawings are arranged in bays that provide space for peer review. Storage tables and millwork house an extensive materials library, while raw scaffolding created from ready-made components enages with columns to provide additional storage and display throughout.
