For the clinic’s first ever pop-up gallery at Santa Monica Place, I coordinated the layout and execution of temporary structures and furniture, as well as the layout of 200+ pieces of artwork. The space was a way to physically connect with the community over the course of a month-long auction whose proceeds benefit the clinic. As part of the pop-up, I organized a mural activation that brought hundreds of visitors to the gallery through live artwork.

About the auction: “Venice Family Clinic has enjoyed a long history within the art community, gaining national notoriety for our tentpole fundraiser, Venice Art Walk + Auction. Launched in 1979, architect Frank Gehry, as well as local artists such as Lita Albuquerque, John Baldessari, and Ed Ruscha donated artwork and organized an auction to ensure the Clinic’s doors remained open. These pioneering artist-activists have inspired hundreds of Los Angeles artists to donate thousands of artworks, raising more than $23 million over the past 44 years.”
